General Pettygree's blog presents, Diary of a Subaltern in the Sudan here:

http://generalpettygree.blogspot.com/2017/02/diary-of-subaltern-in-sudan.html

The  unnamed subaltern and his friend, Freddy Grandmaison, are scouting the new rail line between Wadi Halfa and Kosheh in northern Sudan. The story unfolds with briefly captioned photos and a little narration. I hope you will enjoy the miniatures, scenery and find the story engaging.

Thank you in advance.
Respectfully,
Bill P.

Great stuff, to setup the little scenes and blend it all into a story for an upcoming battle.
