Hi, cant paint at the moment so took the opportunity of a bit of rare winter sun to photograph my Great Northern War project so far, Swedes posted, Saxons and Poles to follow.

Lovely parade. Your mobile gives good photos (can hardly tell the difference), maybe slightly warmer than your camera.

Now my period but some really well put together units you have there! Congrats on getting so much done. Like the flags but could one of these big monsters really be handled one-handed? Who cares, the flags fluttering about make the army!

The flags are probably too big and probably coudnt be carried one handed, but as you say who cares its about how they look for the most part.

Actually the size of those flags are pretty consistent with line drawings I have seen of standard bearers in various resource guides for the period.
