Title: Were to get plastic card
Post by: tomrommel1 on 01 March 2017, 08:33:45 AM
I am looking for plastic card for a conversion I am going to start. I would need strips of plastic card 0.5cm high and 1mm and 2mm thick.
Does anybody know were to get that? Preferable in Germany as I am located there.

'Evergreen' produce a lot of standard styrene strip
'Plastruct' produce a lot of shapes like girders but it's not always styrene.

Tom,

Modellbauzentrum Berlinski in Dortmund stock a wide range of plastics at reasonable prices. Evergreen and Plastruct are expensive, as usual, but they also have 1m profiles of the most widely used shapes (strips, T-, I- and H-beams and rounds) and those are okay, price-wise.

I don't know if they do mail order for that product group, given the large size of the individual items, but if you get around to Dortmund, the shop's usually worth a visit.
