I've been playing a few games of Dragon Rampant at the ELMS club in Leeds this year and I decided it was time to bulk up my Vendel Dwarf army with a few figures so it was ready for a game. The plan is to run it as two units of Elite Foot, one unit of heavy foot, a unit of scouts and a greater warbeast, with the option of dropping the scouts and upgrading the heavy foot to "offensive"
I have some crossbow-armed dwarves on the painting table now and enough spear-armed figures to do another unit of heavy foot. I'd love to get hold of some of the vendel fyrd figures armed with spears and mattocks if anyone has a dozen? (I don't want to have to order from the US).

Very nice, love those vandal dwarves

Me too! Good idea to use the full-face helmeted dwarfs as an elite unit.

They look tremendous - great work on a great range of dwarfs!

Thanks guys

The Vertically Challenged Ones look WONDERFUL. The brushwork & color selection are EXCELLENT, worthy of some closeup photos. OUTSTANDING WORK!

Very nice stuff. :) I like how there are no bloody robots or huge handguns in there. Instead there's a bear! Good stuff, good game.

That is a fantastic looking warband.

Great looking warband for DR

Thankyou again for the kind comments.

I have to confess I'm a bit partial to a dwarf handgun, but this lot are very much stuck in the dark ages. I have a unit of crossbow armed dwarves on the way (Heavy Missiles) which will be about as advanced as they get.
