Mark Sexton (co-writer and storyboard artist of Mad Max: Fury Road) was asked to re-imagine cars from Wacky Races, Fury Road style. Turned out pretty well!

I didn't see that cartoon much as a kid, very rarely managed to catch it. When I did though I was very intrigued.
These are great re-imaginings.

Don't remember the cartoon at all, but these re-imaginings are awesome!

Wacky Races was awesome.
I really like these Mad Max style versions of them too, if anything they get better the further you scroll down.

What a great idea! I have very fond memories of the original Wacky Races cartoon series and seeing these re-imaginings really made me smile. :)

Who will be first to make some of then i wonder.

Love the Slag Brothers one in particular. I could do a whole gang of them.
-
I used to love that cartoon - and I like the re-imagining done here - especially Pat Pending's design!

It would be great with LEGO:

And Artizan's Dick Dastardly is just perfect:

Those are genius. I especially like the concept behind the Army Surplus Special. Spare tracks would be hard to come by post-apocalypse, especially for a Sherman from WW2.
