After being inspired by so many great pictures of zombies and other figures on the LAF site, I thought I'd post some pictures of my own repainted Horrorclix zombie figures. Not all of them were originally zombies, but that's what I turned them into.
I found that the figures came off of the original click bases quite easily and I then glued them onto metal washers. Since Horrorclix figures can be a bit on the tall side of 28mm, putting them on a thin washer helps them fit in with other figure ranges very nicely. For repainting, I did not prime them but rather just painted directly over the original paint jobs.
I haven't posted pictures here before, so hopefully these will be the proper size.
First off: Zombie Ventriloquist, Policeman, and Patient.

Next up: Zombie Lawyer, Zombie Vendor, unknown zombie (I painted it as the UPS Delivery Man).

Blood Vampire, Construction Worker, and Irradiated Zombie.

Next: Inbreeder, Zombie Farmer, and Zombie Sorority Girl.

Finally: Construction Worker, Executed Convict, and Fireman (okay, so he's actually a survivor rather than a zombie).

I'm not sure that "lovely" is the proper way to describe these guys, but you've done a great job here! Did you prime over the original paint jobs, or just paint right on top? I hadn't realized the Horrorclix Zombies had such personality until recently. Gonna have to get me some, and figure out how to use 'em.

Excellent! The farmer is very witty >:D

Wow they look just gorgeous :D, do you know the name of the skater girl, I really like her hehe
-
Those look really good , I think I will have to look out for some .

Very nice :) Never understood the pose of the sorority girl but they are well done.

Excellent work, I've got the Vendor, the Cop and Morty with Chuckles all primed up ready to paint. Personally, after trying to strip one figure using nail polish remover, I gave up on trying to strip any more, the machine paint goo is just too difficult to get off, so I've just sprayed over the paint.

Nice repaints but they still look a tad large to me 8)

They are large. Mine won't be going into the horde as such, a shame as there are some gems in the range.

Beautiful job. :-* I especially like the Zombie Cop. You really made the details pop.
Besides the good quality of many of the Horrorclix and Heroclix sculpts, these are also very easy to convert for greater variety. We have several of the Construction workers that my sons and I converted with different heads, limbs and torsos. And the nice thing is you can be a little sloppy with your conversions and paint up and pass off any gaps as wounds. ;)

Wow!! very nice thanks

Nice stuff, just waiting for mine to arrive then they'll be next on the painting table... You've set a standard to aim for...

Those are wonderful! I have all of those waiting on my table... I'm getting them ready for my Left4Dead game in June. Thanks for the great painting ideas! :D
