Just wondered if anyone makes or would consider making the Holt 5T Tractor?
As no one makes any Late War limbers in would do as a substitute artillery tow for British, American and French field guns.

The 1st Corps 15T Tractor sculpted by the talented "Tin Shed" Mark is a really nice model but I just feel it is suited to towing the much larger heavy guns.

It's all ready to go,and will be released this summer.
It was researched as part of the original WW1 offer. It's been held back for over a year simply because I had car crash which through last year totally out of sync.

Will it be available to purchase at Derby in October?
-
Yes is the short answer,
It was due for release for The Other Partizan . However its release date was swapped with the 20th century follies( as the August WI is a pulp themed issue. It simply made better commercial sense to advertise and release these rather than WW1 in the August issue)
Here's a quick pic of the holt pre tweaking.(just to show it exists 😉).
I've reduced the number of parts down to six. Three resin, and three white metal. The footplates' / mud guards have been over sized (ever so slightly) to give strength to the track mountings. The whole kit can be out of the box and glued together in under five minutes.
The track units have a slight gap between the base and the underside of the track unit. So should you prefer you can simply score/cut the basing away without compromising the track.
