I've seen the same list. I've been dabbling for awhile now in Lion Rampant, and Dragon Rampant, in metal and plastic, and I second the idea that plastic is the way to go. There are undoubtedly some stunning metal figures out there, especially when considering characters or leaders, but I love the Perry and FireForge plastic sets, both for cost and for conversion opportunities. FireForge also has some decent resin figures that go well with the medieval plastic ranges. While not ideal for 'late' middle ages, Curtey's Miniatures has a line of their metal figures all packaged up to fit the Lion Rampant rules. http://1stcorps.co.uk/product-category/medieval/medieval-europe/lion-rampant/
