These are both brilliant. An almost impossible choice o_o
-
Indeed.
My vote would go for both.
-
Agree - both superb.
-
Another cracker!
-
I agree -- tough choice! The lawmen just jump out at you with vibrant colors. And then I looked at the Germans, and the individual details are incredible. The colonel's insignia, the realistic camo pattern...wow!
I finally made my choice, and my vote made it a dead tie. This will be a close one...ha, ha!

Two brilliant entries; Bugsda's distinctive smooth, glowing painting vs Moiterei's stunning camo. Such a difficult decision! :?
-
The things I love most - the beard and moustache on Rooster J Cogburn, and the chipping on the left hand para's helmet. Lovely attention to detail in both entries. This is the LPL at its best.
-
Great. Both entries just leap out of the screen and equally deserve a :o
-
Ouch! This is twisting ones arm asking to choose between to superb entries! :o
@Bugsda
Once again lovely color tones! :-*
@Nick
In addition to your other outstanding work your mastery of camouflage painting always amazes me! :-*

Those western miniatures! The depth and vibrancy of colour, the smoothness of the shading and highlighting, the beautifully understated basing that allows the models to practically glow. Amazing.
-
No fair, guys. I can't choose. Kudos to both.
-
Ok, so we are getting to the 'two of my favourite painters going head to head' part of the League are we? Dammit!
Both far too good guys.
-
A very tough choice indeed. o_o
-
For me, this is the toughest choice in this round.
-
Spent about 15 minutes trying to find some small flaw in either submission to justify a vote. And failed.
In the end Im going on which title I prefer lol
-
They are both quite excellent, excellent images and painting!
It was a tough choice, but I think the crisp lines of freehand on those Germans swings it for me... The rank insignia and the camouflage are very sharp and deliberate.
Of course, the bullet belts on those cowboys are also very precise and deliberate as well..
Great work painters!
thanks

This one was the toughest choice for me...
-
Tough choice for me too lol
That's some excellent camo and I love the subtle battle damage on the equipment, top job Moiterei 8)

Two absolutely stunning entries and so different in style and technique - Can't say which I voted for as I can't remember my mind changed so often

@all: Thank you chaps for all the positive comments in this thread!
@Bugsda: Simply stunning entry! Really love the bright and intense colour palette you're using. Really enjoyed running against you and certainly no shame in loosing this one. My hat off to you Sir.
