Great match up - Area23, are those VOR troopers? Love them, haven't seen those minis for donkeys' years.

Another pair of great entries! Area23, I love the subtle shading. And Overlord, those gunfighters and their town are awesome. And I love the name of the town, too... lol

That is one brilliantly set up photo (and beautifully painted and 'sceneried' too. Love the longhorn skull... )

I have to say though, the rebels are also extremely well done. Especially the alien ape-like being...

The rebels are indeed Vor union troopers, while the robot is a Warzone fig. All by Kevin Adams by the way. :)

The gunslingers are great, but I like the other team too - especially the man-sized gorilla.  Fine painting from both contestants.

East Clintwood's not so bad - it's West Clintwood that's the real hellhole!

Love the extreme highlighting on the black on the guy on the right, Overlord. Black Scorpion, aren't they? Beautiful stuff.

Thanks for all the kind comments.  The framing came about by chance as I was setting up the photo.

I scratch-built most of my old west town probably 15+ years ago, including the town sign.  The name just came to me at the time.  Some of the business names reflect the same influence.  My Mexican village is Malpaso (Co-incidentally the name of a certain production company)

Thanks, it seemed to work quite well.  Yes, they are all Black Scorpion metals (that's how long they have been waiting for paint...)

@area23.  Nicely painted miniatures, with a very sharp photo.  8)
