Title: Could this be a cheap way for buying roads?

I buy stuff from Ali Express every now and then and I was looking at some of their Lego stuff and thought this may be an awesome way to get roads for Post apoc, future wars and modern environments. Basically Lego roads. I have no idea about scale but chop the lego part off and base them nicely. A bit of weathering and they could look great. Anyone done this before?

Each section measures 25.5cm square
They probably have similar stuff in their railway section I imagine. I haven't checked this out though. Just a passing though.

Edit: I initially thought it was about $5 for 4 plates but it is for just one plate. maybe not such a good deal.

Certainly look to be suitable for conversion, nice thought.
