Krash was a miniature car combat game from Sweden . It came out in 99 i think.
The cars were the same size as hotwheels cars but they had numerous 'pegs' over them where you could attach weapons and equipment. Weapons and cars were sold in booster packs but they werent collectable, which was nice.

I still have some of the cars for this game. I used to play LAB, by the same company - Cell Entertainment. Still looking for a few machines & monsters.

Hi
was LAB the Robot game that used the same idea of pegs that you clipped weapons too?

A mad scientist game. Each playre controls different faction of monsters. There was a cryochamber as the base. You place power cables to machinery that has effects on the monsters you're playing. A pretty fun game, and Cell made a couple of great games. The other one you're referring to is a Robaot game. I want to say Shogun, but the name escapes me.

Ronin was the name of the robot game, I believe.

Yes, Ronin...! Cell was a cool company in one way that others aren't: their games could be bought complete, without having to buy endless packs to make a set. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the one I was looking for, then the game was cancelled.
Are you still finding Krash packs?

Wow, I didn't know people still played this game. We played it too (well, actually I think I just played it once), but the price of the boosters was a bit prohibitive (like 6 euros for 5 tiny bits). I didn't like the collectable aspect at all, and the castings were very rough (lots of heavy flash). I never played the game to it's full potential (stacking a car full of weapons) but I did paint a couple of models for it 8)

Yes Krash was expensive. I bought about 10 weapon packs at ,i think,Gencon and all the weapons were quite crisp and flash free. However a couple of months later when i bought some more they were heavily flashed. We never had any of the official Krash cars apart from the ones that came with the basic game. It made far more sense to buy hotwheels cars or similar as they were far cheaper and were the same scale.  For extra weapons and equipment we used old GW weapons and bits especially epic parts which worked great.
We must have played it more than i remember as in the attic i found a box with 40 vehicles  that we had converted for this game and ramps  stracked wrecked cars and other assorted scenery.

it was a very simple game and fun to play.

It was a simple, fun game, but missed its potential in terms of development, I think, like many Cell games. We always used Hotwheels/Matchbox/etc. cars, as the basic cars themselves were pretty poor quality (most even lacked doors, just had big alcoves, which made me wonder where anybody got in, let alone had room to sit behind the wheel). There was a truck booster too, if memory serves, but never picked up any of those. There was a rumor of a boat expansion, but I don't think that ever happened.

I'm not sure what happened to Cell, but Ronin didn't look like it sold particularly well, and I think they lost a lot of money on it. Could be wrong, of course. The Lab game also looked fun, but again it didn't seem to sell too well.

Lots of nice pieces in there Johan, I never managed to get any of them tracks :(

Isn't this in the same scale as most of your gaming miniatures? (20 mm was it?) I can imagine that some of those parrts can be very usefull in WWWII stuff ;)

Well, they are, but I am cutting back on my projects as I lost my job a while back, and with a new temp job and no secure income I've cut down my gaming budget to 0. As these are not needed anytime soon, they are good to go to a new home, tough luck but at the moment it's my only way to get funds for the hobby till I get another steady job (fingers crossed on that one)

I had some when I was younger, and some of the robot game's stuff too. Seems they've been lost to time though. Had fun playing with the stuff out in the sand box when I had them still however >:D.

Cell Entertainment had some very cool games out.1999,Lab,Ronin,Hybrid and Krash.I have the starter set for Ronin and some add on packs too.Even got some of the vehicles they released.Might have a Lab set hidden away too. They were going to release a game based on Death Dealer. That would have been great.

I have an almost-complete LAB collection. I really enjoyed playing it, though sometimes the rules weren't all that clear. I am missing one of the machines, but I'm thinking I'll just scratch build it. I would like to get the rights to that game, and bring it back.

@Too Bo Coo : Do you have a Link for that 20mm bits? Sounds great!

@manic _miner : Yes, I found this page already... but the prices are ... well expensive :D. Overall I´m looking for some "orange" expansion packs because they are even harder to find then the standard yellow ones.

But Thanks a Lot for helping me out :D. Does anyone of u guys still have the original instructions? I lost mine and would be very happy if someone could provide me a scan or so.
