Lt Col Mike Snook has very kindly writeen an article on the British and Colonial forces at Isandlwana which we have placed on the site.

Hi Ladies,

As I mentioned on TMP,  that the navy had one representative that was killed there, but not shown in the overall table of personnel.

Just an observation, an one I hope can be answered in time.

Able Seaman Aynsley was servant to Lt Milne R.N. who was ADC to Lord Chelmsford and so is included in the other ranks coloumn of HQ staff.

Based on his death a very brave man and a future figure in the range  ;)
