Everybody should have a couple. How can you go wrong with a four-dollar shoggoth?

(It is a bit small, I'll admit. Perhaps it's a baby shoggoth.)

Nicely done NSA!!
I never really cared for this sculpt, with the 'ping pong ball' center.
But you've made it look scary and cosmic.

As always - a wonderful paintjob! Love that globe, with the subtle lights!

Nice job :)

Agreed on all points, the painting helps this thing out a lot. The ball just seemed like the sculptor didn't know what to do so shoved a ball bearing into the center. Now it looks weirdly appropriate, particularly with the 4th Doc there :)

Great paintjob!
Old-time Dr Who fans know, of course, that the sculpt is perfect for a Rutan...

I always visualized a shoggoth as that novelty rubber vomit.

Odd model.

I thought of that... The original Rutan was somewhat lacking due to the Beeb's budgetary restraint, but as always they made a good show of it.

Must say the sculpt doesn't do much for me, but your paint job is very well done!

I have always seen this model as a possible 'colour out of space' model (if one can ever make a model for that) for my AH collection, your colour scheme is giving me ideas...

"Four Dollar Shoggoth" could be a great band name.
