Both excellent but, Jagannath, I love the Tin Tin concept and your choice of figures for the various figures.
What/Who is Captain Haddock?
-
Wow -- this is a toughie! The gunfighters continue the LPL tradition of amazingly-painted Old West figs. I especially love the rich, gorgeous colors. :-* The Space reporter scene is incredible. I love the floating robot -- the shading and the colors are amazing at that scale. Great job, Jags!! :o :o

Lovely job Bugsda - that red bandana :-*
Thanks both - I converted the main fella on a whim and it dawned on me how much he looked like Tin Tin, so the rest followed - I'm not sure professor calculus comes across enough but I'm pleased with the rest of the gang.
@capthugeca - Captain Haddock is from the Ion Age 'Prang' range, I sculpted a helmet and beard on to try and 'Haddock' him up a bit more. I'm so so on the Prang range as a whole, but this one is great.

You are so good in 15mm Jagannath :O
-
Excellent entries both.. Rich colors on the cowboys and incredible painting on the 15mm.
-
Thank you both - LPL's bee a good excuse to push a few things, glad people like them.
-
With each entry you tempt me to use some of mine but I wont be able to photograph them so well to be visible :)

That's some sharp highlighting on those 15s Jagannath and Sci-fi Tintin is a great idea 8)

Which figures did you use for those Jagannath?

Thanks - bit too sharp in parts, it's a tricky balance to strike in small scales. Yours are stunning, how do you do your metals? Just a single overbrush on black?
Which figures did you use for those Jagannath?
The Thompson twins are two GZG figures from one of the 'colony' packs (maybe colony police or armed colonists), Captain Hai'duk is an Ion Age Prang with a sculpted helmet and beard, T'in T'in ("space reporter!") is a GZG Brethren of the Light body (the body holding out a book from the command pack) with a PSC arm and GZG headswap, the droid known as 'SN0 WY' is from the Ion Age as is Proffesor Kalkloos.
(What a silly paragraph!)

I don't, it's just the black primer rubbed off with wire wool ;)

Excellent work gents :)

You are an absolute madman. I was wondering about that myself.

Yeah, can't seem to make it work on plastics though lol

Another excellent match up with both entries putting on quite a display in tones! :-*
