Here are some hasty photos taken of the new greens I have just received from Matthew for Boot Hill Miniatures ongoing Texas War of Independence range.
First up a special vignette: "Crockett's Last Stand"
"Davy" Crockett depicted as many would like to see him resplendent in buckskins and coonskin cap, out of ammunition he desparately swings his Kentucky long rifle behind his head surrounded by a few surviving Texians as the Mexican Soldados close in for the kill at the Alamo, March 6th 1836.

I will be sending these off to Griffin Moulds for production shortly. They should be in the online shop sometime in June. :)

Very nice sculpts and an ever present temptation towards another project, though I think I would be doing Zorro first looking at the Boot Hill catalogue.

I love these sorts of vignettes Matthew is a brilliant sculptor. I would like to see what a Comanche sculpted by him lookd like ;)

In other news Matthew has started the civilians, twelve in total ( a three piece Mariachi band, a Flamenco dancer, four male Mexicans/Tejanos and four female Mexican/Tejanos.) :)
