Title: BAM Early German / Perry Plastic DAK parts compatibility?
Post by: Littlearmies on May 14, 2017, 08:17:09 AM
Hi,
Apologies if this has already been addressed in another thread. Would the Perry DAK arms be compatible with the Warlord Early German plastic infantry figures for kitbashing without too much hacking about?

Thanks
Malc

I suspect there might be issues.

I do not have the bits to hand, but this is a comparison between a BEF figure and an Eighth Army figure.

I will have a look and see if I can find the bits.

I have sprues of all the Bolt Action German sets and also Perry Afrika Korps on my table.
They are not compatible without a lot of effort.

The Bolt Action shoulders are 10% wider than the Perry so the sets of weapons with two arms will not fit.
The single arms will fit but as the Perry sculpts are slimmer and smaller, this looks rather like a weightlifter with a child's arms.
Also the Perry weapons are about 10% smaller.

Ok. Thanks for your prompt help, guys. That torpedoes that idea!
