Title: Captain America and Captain Miller vs. Red Skull
Post by: Terry37 on May 14, 2017, 08:15:12 PM
I have finished a set of opposing HOTT armies with one being red Skull and his minions and the other A Hollywood US army. You can see them here

Lulubelle has now been finished with her name properly on her sides.

Nice.

What make is the M3?

The M3 is a Pendraken 10 MM model with some additional track cut from another tank added to make it as close as possible to the movie version.

Nice.

What size bases are you using, 15mm scale ones?

I still use my HOTT/DBA board for a photographic base, and for The Walking Dead games.

Supervike, thank you for the compliment.

Ultra, the bases is the standard 40 x 40 MM  size. That's why I like the Pendraken miniatures so much - they fit the bases for HOTT, but still look OK with hte 15 MM figures.

To give an idea of scale, Here is a picture of an Irregular 15 MM A7V on a 40 x 80 MM base, and a Pendraken 10 MM A7V on a 40 x 60 MM base. I could fit the smaller A7V on a smaller base but try to keep  bits from sticking out over the edge that might break easily. And HOTT does allow for deeper bases if necessary as long as the frontage is consistent.

Lovely armies. That's why I like DBA and HoTT so much. Easy to churn out something unique and on the table.
