I hadn't seen this mentioned anywhere on here, and wondered if anyone was planning on going.
http://phoenix-show.co.uk/
I think this is only the second year of the event, and as I missed it last time I am planning to have a trip out and see what's on offer (cash and family permitting). The Rheged conference centre is a good venue, and very close to the motorway so would be handy for those from Lancaster or the Borders as well.
The website has a countdown thing on it that is wrong by about a month, and isn't terribly up to date with this year's programme, but if they have the same kind of traders they did last time then it could be worth a quick squizz. And they have a bring and buy for tat-loving cheapskates like me to mooch around.
Anybody any more info? ???

I have my name down for trading again this year.
It is a nice venue but does take some time getting used to the layout.I got lost a few times trying to get to the car park at the end of the day ;).
The bring and buy had some nice things on offer last year and a good mix of traders too.

Sweet, hopefully I'll see you there and be able to pick up a Panadol and a packet of worms. lol
I take it they are having it in the big exhibition space on the top floor? It does take some finding, that one.
I'm thinking of making it The Boy's first wargames show, as its close by, assuming I can get him to stop being quite so "handsy" in the next four weeks...

Will be nice to see you there.
I think it will be upstairs again. My daughter did not like the stairs that much as it does give you a bit of vertigo with the glass sides.
Would make a good trip to head into Penrith after the show with kids or other family members. The venue has a cinema too.

The Falkirk club are running a 28mm Indian Mutiny game on the day of the show.

Might have a couple of new pieces for release at the show not too.
-
Cool, I'll look forward to seeing them. :)
Looks like Warlord are going to be there as well, I'm quite tempted by their new BUF packs... No! Naughty Bob! Stop making lists!

The Falkirk club are now running a 28mm Gladiator public participation game on the day.
-
Well that was fun. :)
Nice little show, and good to chat with Andy from 4A, and I hope other people's children bullied them into buying more than they intended from him like mine did. ::)

Enjoyable show. Played three games - the most I've ever played at any show. Matt Crump's 1940 Sea Lion game and the Gladiator game twice ... and got beat, twice ;)

The show went really well for us and it was great to meet lots of old faces and new one's too.
Looking forward to seeing the Goblins painted up JollyBob ;).
Picked up some bargains and got a free Walking Dead Zombie.
