Title: Rise of the Kage- Bushido
Post by: The Voivod on May 17, 2017, 08:30:40 AM
Trying to practice a bit on macro-photography and thought I might as well post some of my mini's of the last few months.

So a couple of years ago, during the time I had less money then ever, this kickstarter caught my eye.
It was a cool concept of ninja's sneaking around a mansion, trying to avoid the guard or kill them with as little attention as possible.

The kickstarter was doing great, lots of stretchgoals, but I, as I said, was broke.

I was luck enough to find someone on boardgame geek who wanted to sell a pledge, with all add-ons I would have added, last year though.

Now I have loads of eastern type mini's.

They are overall pretty good, lovely sculpts, very crisp ( and tiny  o_o ) detail for plastic.
They are a bt bendy and the hot water trick only works for a while.
Allso I noticed a few casting mistakes, but these are pretty few.

As always: I suck at macro-photography. (allthough these are sharper than the last badge)

These are really well painted.  The photos are not that bad.  The lighting is a little harsh, maybe you can put something in front of them to diffuse it.  Even a piece of white paper might help.

Thanks,

I'm not quite sure how the the papertrick will work.
Where exactly should I put it? Just put some paper in front of them?
