That's awesome. I used to live across the border in Kochi Prefecture not too far from Mugi Town.
From memory, some of the local restaurants offered 'Kaizoku Ryori' (literally pirate food/pirate cuisine) which is pretty much grilled seafood.
Mugi used to have a pretty good Onsen (hot spring) too so it's well worth a visit if you're ever out in that neck of the woods.
I agree about this making an awesome scenario for a game.

Brilliant read! I'll be in Shikoku in a few months time so now I'll have to plan a little trip to Mugi to see what I can find out :-)
