There's an interesting statement from Pete on TAG's website about his intentions for TAG's Renaissance range. Of particular interest to me personally are the prospect of some French TYW and some Spanish and Dutch for the first part of the 80 Years' War.

Those are great news!! Indeed are The best news I could read lol

Unless you have inside info i'm not privy to, I wouldn't hold my breath for TYW French as Pete's been mentioning them for years : that doesn't mean he and Nick won't do them in the fullness of time but I doubt they'll be released in the near future. It looks like the 80 Years War figures will come first - and the forthcoming Osprey MAA books will probably help promote the range.

Fantastic news.looking forward to getting lots of Spanish for my Great Seige of Malta collection.

Arthur: I'm afraid I have no inside information. I think that both French TYW and 80 Years War figures would fill gaps in the 28mm market, so could be good ranges for TAG to produce. Apart from Warlord's Richelieu figure, I'm not aware of any 28mm French TYW since Foundry produced literally a couple of figures in the late 1980s in their TYW range. The only 25mm / 28mm ranges for the 80 Years War I'm aware of are the Essex ranges from the 1980s.
