Title: Burrows & Badgers figures
Post by: Maldred on May 31, 2017, 08:37:42 PM
I have bought some nice B&B anthropomorphic* figures for my wife
To pull out the detail on the figures I'd like to get them painted to a reasonable standard but I can't tell from the web adverts who would do a good job for a reasonable price, I'd also like to keep shipping to within the UK.

Does anyone have any recommendations based on personal experience?

Apologies if this should be in some other part of the forum, I saw that B&B figures are discussed here and didn't want to horrify any hardcore WWII painters with my fluffy pet figures.

Thanks
Mark

Recommending a painter is hard because you ideally want to find one that has a style you like (like all artists, they will have a paint style and you need to sure you will like their style).

That being said, Matt Slade at Glenbrook Games (http://www.glenbrookgames.co.uk)  paints to (in my opinion) a very nice tabletop standard and does so for a pretty good price.

I am not sure if he uses this forum, but he has quite a few photos on his website and is very active on Facebook.

Thanks for responding Psychomo and you make a good point, thinking about it I'd err on the side of more natural colours.
Matt's work is excellent and the palette for his home guard would suit me, his prices are good too so I will be getting in touch.

Thanks again for your help.
