Title: DITDC - Wargames illustrated Question
Post by: Zombie Master on June 06, 2017, 12:24:18 PM
Is it just me or do the points values of the armies in this months WI not quite make sense.

For example the Boars (working from memory)

9 Bases @ 25 points =225
4 Larger @ 15 points =60
Disciplined general =30 - Is this another base?

Total 315 points (I assumed the armies were all 300?)

Also interesting how small this army is (at 2 figures/base), tempted to build one myself to finally justify getting some Zulus.

The BoEr leader only costs 15, because his force is not 'Disciplined' but rather only 'Organized'.  So the points work out fine.

Thanks, I will check out the other two lists when home.

Not played the rules but have the earlier edition, no need to update unless I want the pictures and extended lists?

I also have the osprey colonial rules that I have to have a try out with my Sudan stuff, should I try these having played a lot of Lion Rampant or jump straight to DITDC?

In the new version there are roughly a dozen or so rule changes that I have noticed as well as a few changes to some of the lists.
