Cursed Earth Rad wagon.
Battle Kings K-111 missile launcher. (matchbox from 1975). Bought a few weeks ago at a vintage seam rally show. Bargain a £4 i recall.
Anyway:
Body split to repaint cockpit and (will be adding leds to light up the crewspace).
Base coated, equipment/stowage added. Took the launcher out and checkplated the hatch plasticarded.
Started painting the lights and realised i needed more....
I mean what self respecting prospecting colonists team would head off to a crashed alien ship without a nice set of extra headlights eh? ;)
Plasti-rod and new xacto blades to the rescue.
Interesting fact: this range was linked to a cursed earth storyline (big 2000ad references wth the two part 'land raider' the more obvious JD/cursed earth link).
Enjoy
P.s. bought another one! 8)

There rae quite a few useful vehicles in the Battle Kings range.
Zaheer tipped me off to them with this thread, after which I grabbed a few myself for my Outland project:

Very cool. I treated myself to the cursed earth book last week so it's fresh in my brain, it looks really good.

Nice.

As promised Mcfonz:
GW plastic SM scout, LAM post apoc stalkers, Rogue Trader Mercs & Rocket Raccoon (aka Combat wombat). Give u a good idea of scale I hope.

Nice, really good scale on that. Hmmm, now do I hunt one down? :D

Very nice job, I think I have two of the 'rear ends' to the HQ one they had somewhere. That last bit probably made no nonsense, sorry o_o
It's nice to see these vehicles get such love, and get another lease of life too.
The figures are very nice done too by the way!
