Following my introduction of veteran scout sergeant Plumbus Maximus in the original Lead Legion thread, I announced the follow up of his squad. And rather than filling that thread with WIP shots and unnecessary wafle, I decided to start my own thread, chronicling my progress on said squad.
For this I'm using the old (and dare I say, fugly) plastic scouts from the Rogue Trader days. I have tons of these, bought both as part of games I own (think Lost Patrol, Advanced Space Crusade or Ultramarines for example), but also as seperate buys, as years ago, I needed many of those heavy bolters and the only way to get them was buying all those squads (which nobody seemed to want anyway!).
So I've had at least 50 of them lying around, so why not use them for this purpose eh?
As I'm currently on vacation, my photography is not up to snuff and I'm unable to upload pictures as I'm doing all this on just my phone, so throught the forum it has to be.
Stay tuned for updates as I get cracking... Expect progress to increase once I get home in a couple of weeks though :D

Lovely conversions! I just finished up a batch of those scouts for a retro-Space Marine army of my own recently, and I was at a loss for how to spice up their pretty bland uni-pose. I think you nailed it. Very imaginatively done! ;D :o o_o

Very good, I've always had a soft spot for these Scouts and the metal ones of the same design.
