Start of my peninsular war project, will be at skirmish level, I've got front rank figures which I love, and a few others from foundry etc, I've started on terrain first as some of it will be used for my old west Mexican project.
First up some nice items from grand manner, lovely resin bits, again will be used for Spain and Mexico

Mdf church, not a bad kit but I've added a lot to it to make it look less like mdf, but as a basic frame it's pretty good, the kits from Charlie Foxtrot, still very much work in progress, needs a base and I might add a tower later, needs a rope for the bell, it's very similar to the church in sharpes rifles.
-
Sharpe and Harper, so glad I got these two, great Jim Bowen sculpts!
-
Looks great so far. One comment - your church looks super but possibly more suited to the South of Spain than the more Northern areas where the British mostly fought. The architecture varies quite a bit in the Northern areas but tends to Romanesque churches.
-
Looking really good so far, Andy. I look forward to seeing Sharpe and Harper painted up!
-
Really like the church.
Look forward to following along to see what's next.

Great stuff, I dived in recently with Front Rank figures and Grand Manner stuff for a Peninsular project. Looking forward to seeing how yours develops. :)
-

Grand Manner stuff? Oh, I didn't know that. You really have invested in this haven't you?!
Majorsmith, the shrine is great. Lovely scenic bits and pieces 8)

Great set of buildings, I think the TFL crew might have used something similar for their board 8) :-*

Trying to stay afloat in a modest Napoleonic project is very difficult. lol
-
A very good beginning, and looking forward to seeing more of this as it moves forward!
-
Really a good start, keep up the good job, I'll be following this thread!
-
Thanks everyone, I'm very slow at finishing projects so this could be a long wait!
-
A great start. I went Front Rank and Foundry for the figures (in separate armies) and Grand Manner for the buildings, so it will be fun following this.

Church and fountain finished

Well Done indeed! :) I love the church especially.

Nice job on those, that Charlie Foxtrot church looks very effective finished off like that.
-
Lovely work. It shows what can be done with a bit of effort and creativity with an mdf building as a base.
-
very nicely done ;D

Beautiful! That church is a triumph!

Just an echo of all he others - very nice indeed !
Have been looking at the CF Church myself, think I may have to get it now.

The church is well worth it, put a bit more into it and it looks so much better

Very cool, great job on those!

LOVE the church - except the impossibly shiny bell.... :?
-
Funny enough it's not actually that shiny! The sun must have caught the metal work 😀

That would be an ecumenical question:
