A good start.

I'm not much of a fan of the model, but that paintwork is exceptional!
-
Love the grubby paintwork.

The designers were channeling Star Wars.
I was mildly tempted by it when it was released, but came to the conclusion it would be too much work removing the dog womble iconography.

Agreed! I'm seeming the model from a whole new perspective with your paint job.

Fantastic paintjob dude
As others have said it's making me think a lot more positively about the model :)

I hope you're feeling better by now. I've busted so many ribs and fingers (wrestling and boxing) I have lost count.
Care to describe how you achieved that paintjob? Looks like big flat areas are airbrushed over a dark base color, no?
I tend to paint the opposite, lighter or mid color and wash/ink it down, then highlight by edging.
I'm working hard on trying to "grok" glazing and highlighting big flat areas. I just can't seem to wrap my mind around it.

Thanks fellas!
Hello Eric, sorry about the wait, yep I spray dark first then go lighter further up,matching natural light.
