Title: Anna Elizabeth 40K Stuffs
Post by: Anna Elizabeth on August 13, 2017, 01:50:00 PM
Hello All,

I first got into Warhammer 40000 in 1993, when it was still called Rogue Trader. I enjoyed Second Edition immensely, and dropped out by Fifth Edition, But GW and 40K are like the CIA, you never really quit. The new 8th Edition has me excited again, and I bought "Dark Imperium" and a few other things to start off.

This is Intercessor Squad (A), I've painted them as Blood Angels, I've loved the Blood Angels ever since the first GW things I bought were a pack of lead Mark IV Marines and an issue of White Dwarf with the story of the Battle at the Emperor's Palace.

I added a few Purity Seals and Scope from my spares, I'm looking for a "2nd Edition" feel with my force. I've airbrushed these with Vallejo Model Air and Game air, finishing with regular paintbrush, and they are the first Blood Angels I've evers been happy with my finish.

Similar story to me, although I haven't quite bitten the bug again yet . . . . although Necromunda is my old love and it seems it's returning.

Really like your paint job on those marines. Looks great.  :)

Thank you, mcfonz. The airbrush made these easy. :)

I'm totally excited about the new Necromunda as well. My dear departed Escher Gang used to get a lot of attention. It'll be a blast to have a new one.
