I'm fascinated by the Victorian Era, anything from studying the history to dressing in Steampunk-style outfits, and my favorites are British soldiers of the Colonial Wars.
Here are a few from Empress and Perry:

"I am a 28mm Model of a Modern Major General" - Sir Garnet Wolseley leading the Gordon Relief Expedition, from Perry Miniatures.

Perry 28mm Indian Service Dress, serving as the Royal Irish Fusileers in the Sudan, 1885. I'm making good progress on a Black Powder force for 2nd El Teb. I'm also currently w-i-p on the new Perry British Infantry for the Anglo-Zulu War, what a lovely set. :)

Lovely work, I don't do colonial but love the uniforms and you have made a great job on those minis. :)

Very nice. Way to show some love!

Thank you for the compliments, Everyone. :) I've been painting my Perry AZW plastic British today. I'm experimenting to see if a quick spray of Vallejo Game Air Bloody Red will speed up the process.

Good job! Bravo!

Anna,
I used the same method on my SYW Russians. Different period I know, but a single coat of red, then the equipment, flesh, etc. then army painter wash worked well for me - good luck on the AZW figs.

Thank you. It seems like it is working, I sprayed 6 out of the 26 I had primed, and I think it's speeding up the process.

I adore these minis, they are fabulous to paint.

This one is probably the best single miniature I've ever done.

And, Mounted for action. Thank you for looking. :)

Very nice - I like the poses/head positions you've picked for the mounted versions.

Excellent painting.
I like them a lot.

Good collection

Thank you, Everyone. I'm in-progress on KRRC for the Sudan and Brits in Home Service helmets at this time. :)

Superb....mounted and dismounted! Empress do some lovely figures but you painting more than does them justice!
I must confess I would love to add some mounted Infantry, Natal mounted Police and a few mounted NNC to my collection.

Thank you kindly. :) Empress are my favorite for miniatures, they are always superb. I want Natal Mounted Police and NNC for my own collection as I can.

I am a Victorian nut too! I have wrote half a time travel novel set in Victorian times (it's straight SF, not steampunk) and read and watch everything I can get hold of, both history and fiction.
Your minis are great. My own favourites are Redoubt and Black Tree as I like big figures, although the Empress are lovely.
If I ever get a new photo host sorted out (I was a victim of Photobucket) I will get some photos up of my own stuff.

vodkafan, thank you kindly. :) I've seen the Redoubt minis, and they are really nice.
I've switched my photohosting over to Imgur.com. So far, so good.
