Title: Copplestone KKBB resin question
Post by: Stu on March 30, 2009, 08:20:34 PM
The pictures of the new resin from Salute has got me thinking evil thoughts but my plan for world domination one table top at a time has been put on hold until one final question has been answered- what are the dimensions of the various doors in the range? I'm assuming that there are only two basic sizes which should make lair design and construction easier.

Are you sitting comfortably....?

KKBB401 Power Room Door
KKBB402 Security Door
KKBB403 Walk-In Freezer Door
KKBB404 Lift Doors
KKBB405 High-Security Cell Door
Width=50mm+/-0.5mm.  Height=45mm+/-0.5mm.   Depth=20mm+/-1mm

KKBB406 Steel Door
KKBB407 Cell Door
KKBB408 Storeroom Door
KKBB409 Hi-Tech Vault Door
KKBB410 Strongroom Door
KKBB411 Lab/Kitchen Door
Width=25mm+/-0.5mm.  Height=45mm+/-0.5mm.  Depth=20mm, up to -2mm

KKBB412 Outer Blast Door
KKBB413 Interior Blast Door
Width=50mm+/-0.5mm.  Height=45mm+/-0.5mm.   Depth=20mm+/-1mm

EQ1 Bank Vault Doors: Width=70mm  Height=50mm  Depth=20mm

EQ4 Bio-Hazard Doors: Width=50mm  Height=45mm  Depth=20mm

All measurements based on the copies I have. Widths & heights show very little variation.
The base depth is a nominal 20mm for all but does vary between 18mm & 21mm at the extremes.
I'm pleased with them and all the other bits I bought  :D
I have (evil) plans.......>:D

Has anybody tried to set Copplestone resin doors into walls made from Hirst Arts blocks?
