Fantastic work. Even more so as they are 15mm.
-
Really excellent work Rafa - the peasants look very glum, but I suppose that's because they are peasants!!
Simon.

Hard to believe they are 15mm!

Sublime brushwork, and those shields are superb

That was the intent -- they're standing on a battlefield on which men in superb full armour with long swords or battleaxes are fighting alongside men with powerful bows or crossbows...and they've got pointy sticks. Peasants are pretty unaggressive troops in most mass battle systems and they were sculpted to show that.
Steve Dean has painted some other models for this range and I think he has a thread here too somewhere, with the English longbowmen and the foot knights in jupons. He also recently painted the mounted knights in jupons but I'm not sure if those were added to that thread.
Rafa has another big batch of models for this range he'll be painting up -- bidets, Spanish/Italian foot, the mounted command, more mounted knights, and I think some other stuff too.

Bidets? My respect for the personal hygiene of medieval soldiers has just risen enormously. Portable as well, presumably.

Time to lower your respect again:

I assumed bidowers was meant, but wasn't aware bidet was an alternative, prone to misinterpretation as it is, in spite of what appears to be a common root word. I'm almost disappointed.

"Bidowers" was an English corruption of the word.

Superb painting on 15mm! :)

Thanks again! :)

Trust the English to corrupt a perfectly good word.
