Uhhhh! Kawaii! Although the weapons are a bit heavy on the fantasy side for my taste, but the poses are cool. And those faces look good, too.

ever read or heard about castability of miniatures? If they were to scale you all would nagg "I got minis with broken katanas or bows, the minis are crap, the sculptor an idiot. Couldn't he make them thicker?"

Besides that after being moulded twice (master mould, production mould) there is always a definite shrinkage of the material so they will get thinner and slimmer.

I love those comments  Where would I be without them? :(

Yes, of course, you have to work pragmatically... but, even the Reaper Fantasy Samurai swords are smaller (but not that much, Iīll admit).

I agree 100% that one will have to wait for the production models for a final verdict. And, re-reading my post, I didnīt put it specifically enough: nothing against the Naginata (?) and the Yumi, which look remarkably good. Itīs mainly the swords. And those I could replace, after all.

At least the archer here now in color. The rest are samurai I did for Gladiator as the initial release for this range years ago.

I've been a fan of JO's work for many years. I've got a shed load of his 15mm C12 & C13 feudals. Great modeliing and lots of potential for gaming...Well done
