Just a quick note to say that I have finally finished updating all the entries in my directory of 28mm figure manufacturers.
There have been quite a few new ranges, changes of ownership and so on since I compiled it so the job was well overdue!
I still have one or two new makers to add, which will hopefully take place over the next few weeks.
The updated list can be found here...

That's quite an undertaking. I'll have to bookmark it.
-
Thanks for doing this directory - really useful :)
The AMS Miniatures link took me to a clothing site! I appreciate from regular attendance at gaming shows many wargamers are some what sartorially challenged to say the least but I assume this is a mistake rather than a hint? lol
-
Interesting! This is why it needs constant editing!
I checked that link a couple of months ago and it went to AMS Miniatures the maker of wargames figures. That's another thing added to the 'to do' list...
-
Have you compared it to the one at TMP?
-
Are you bookmarking ALL 28mm manufacturers? Or only those producing for a specific period? If the former I could add a few more if you like.
-
I did look at the TMP stuff. I didn't find it very user friendly, to be honest!
I am wanting to list all manufacturers of 28mm historical figures. It can be confusing sometimes to determine who is a manufacturer and who is a distributor!

Extensive work!
Just my two cents, War of 1812 for Knuckleduster Miniatures would be a better description that "Napoleonics"
-
Yes. I went with 'Napoleonics' as shorthand for 'Napoleonic Era'.
The alternative would have been to list them as '19th Century', which I felt was less appropriate. The British troops wearing the same uniforms could be used for both conflicts, after all.
Clicking on the Napoleonics tab will give a more detailed breakdown of what figures are available, including the War of 1812. I hope to do a tab for each era!

I agree.
Now we just need someone to do it for 15mm... :)

Stoessi's Heroes are WW2 character figures, some historical, and some from movies.
There are also a few modern politicians in WW2 guise.
