One of four games featured at this month's meeting of the DWG was this eighty years war skirmish using Donnybrook.

I enjoyed seeing a game played out using “Donnybrook”. Great looking figures, loved the buildings. Also like the scenario and backstory explanation.

Thank you for posting. Quite enjoyed it.

I echo both the previously posted sentiments. :D

Awesome work!
I'm so jealous. I've been trying to get an army together for some Dutch Revolt skirmish but I just can't find any manufacturer that has the right miniatures. It's so frustrating!
I just want some pikemen, musketeers and an officer or two :'(

I've just done a post on my blog where I chat about where I'm going with the project and what manufacturers I've considered http://theleadpile.blogspot.co.uk/2017/10/dutch-revolting.html
but to cut a long story short
Foundry Seadogs
Foundry Wars of religion
Casting room Elizabethans
Citadel Estalians
Gamezone Imperials
Warlord swordsman
Warlord/Arsenal Wars of religion Pike and shot
HokaHey games Border Reivers
The Assault Group Renaissance range
There are size issues obviously but have a look at what you like.

Like the report, figures, and scenery, congrats!

Excellent report and game Whiskey :-*

Great report! Did you adapt Donnybrok for the period? Or did you use it as written, just ignoring rules for bayonets and the like? I was thinking about using the rules for the Thirty Years War.
