Following on from my work during the last Lead Painter's League I went back to my fledgling Republican force for Bolt Action.

Empress please employ him as your house contract painter ;)

Thank you gents! Your support is much appreciated.
Today some armoured support for the International Brigades in the form of a BA-6 from Warlord Games. I did deliberately not make use of any markings in order to be able to field this little beauty with Republicans, Nationalists and WW2 Russians (once I come round to those that is). To that end the vehicle commander was magnetized too.

Oh wow! :o That’s a excellent paInt job! Can I ask how you go about doing your weathering?
-
FANTASTIC weathering.. I am torn between trying stopping what I am doing right now to imitate you immediately OR throwing away my brushes knowing that I would never get there...
-
Oh man.... voll krass endgeil :)
-
Thank you all!
Today a Bofors anti-tank gun for use with my International Brigades. Kept it quite generic though, so I can field them as Rebels if need be.

Today another squad of International Brigadists. I really like these miniatures and the relative freedom I have in regards to their "uniforms".

@marianas_gamer: Nope, I'm not using any washes
@CaptainHaddonCollider: The BA-6 commander is from Warlord Games and came with their resin T-34/85 kit

Except for the three chaps below, all other miniatures are Empress Miniatures.
I can't remember who the guy on the left is from, but he was supposed to be a reporter or the like. That is until he got a rifle added and a head swap. The gentleman in the middle is from the excellent Great War Miniatures range of late WW1 British. He only was subject to a simple head swap to make him match the setting. The right one is a "Bank Manager" from Footsore Miniatures. Here again a head swap made sure he'd not stand out too much.

Fantastic! That polka dot dress is outstanding! :o

More brilliance. The spotty dress is wonderful, and so are the conversions. In fact, it’s all wonderful. You must have quite a big collection of these now?

:-* Absolutely brilliant, it all just gets better and better!
-
Great, great work, simply some of the best SCW minis around!
-
Superb work.

Wow. :o :o Your work seems to get better and better. I love the figure in the spotty dress and the great conversions as well. Your pinstripe suits are the bees knees. :-* :-* :-*

Best painted minis around

Stunning :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

They may be the best painted lot I have seen in a long time.

The best.

Utterly fantastic Nick and what's even better I get to see them up close! :D I really do need to get some terrain done so we can get them on the battlefield.

All those miniatures urgently needed some terrain to fight over, thus I finally got going and built/ painted some buildings for use with my SCW collection.
Both buildings are Charlie Foxtrot Models and are highly recommended. Not only are they real beauties with their resin pieces (roof, some other parts) to add character to the otherwise flat MDF, but furthermore Colin, the owner of Charlie Foxtrot, is an excellent guy to deal with. He virtually went out of his way to secure me the cheapest shipping rate to Germany.
Without further ado, here's the two buildings:

And while I was at it anyway, I also refurbished an older Ziterdes ruin I had lying around for a while now. I never liked the old bright green grass flock and the monotone grey walls. It's quite impressing what you can do with these pieces with just a little sand and paint.

¡Maravilloso! They really look the part. Extra marks for the flower pots. :)
If you get tired of white walls, a slightly sandy off-white, was/is popular. Old roof tiles also fade to various shades of light brown/beige/grey; almost like the colour gets washed out of them over time.

They are beauties :-*
Wonderful makeover on the Ziterdes piece too 8)
-
Very nice work on those :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

It has taken me far too long to get back to this particular project. But the release of the superb Rubicon T-26 saw me finally add to my Rebel forces:

Stunning thread, Nick. Such envy!

A beautiful array of miniatures and scenery :-*

moiterei_1984 please stop, i don't have time to do SCW again. Ok don't stop :D
-
Thank you gents!
Today something a little special, namely a German supplied 7,7cm Feldkanone 96 n.A.
About 100 of these pre-WW1 vintage field guns were sold to Franco by Nazi Germany.
As artillery usually doesn't feature in CoC I'll use it as a stand in for a PaK.
