Title: Shiny Franco-Prussian War
Post by: AlyMorrison on October 26, 2017, 08:18:54 PM
Or another chance for my daughter to give me a pasting...

Mharaid came over for another game of toy soldiers... and so as not to upset her I conceded gracefully.... honest...  :'(

Another great game with my favourite opponent...

Is there such a thing as a lectern with a built in fridge?  Mine you, I'm not a beer drinker.

Fun.

They were most likely court-martialled after the last outing.

If you put the name of the farm (LA FERME SANS MOUTON.) through google translate ... you will find the answer...

Great looking game. Still trying to get my wargames room into order, but will never be able to have anything bigger than a 6'x4'.

Leman...

My table is only 5’x7’...
I could probably squeeze a 6’x8’ in the room ,but I think it would make playing games less comfortable and make my room look to crowded.
All of our games have been enjoyable and that’s all that really matters ...

All the best.  Aly

I have got round the 6x4 problem by doing a lot of 10mm and 6mm games and by dropping from inches to centimetres in some rules. My favourite FPW rules for big battles tend to favour smaller scale figures, i.e. 1870/71 and Bloody Big Battles.
