One of four games played this month at the DWG was the Battle of Qadisyyah fought between the old and the new forces at play in the middle-east as the Sassanid Empire locked horns with the rising Islamic army, using Swordpoint.

An impressive looking game and interesting battle report. I am also considering using Swordpoint so this was food for thought.

Very nice AAR and pics, JJ! Glad to see that you enjoyed using the Swordpoint rules for your battle. For me, the Momentum tokens are one of the outstanding features of the game.
