Oh look, I found something else to do head swaps with - in this case Reaper's Toad Demon and Bathalian Primarch figures.

Huge model that barely fits a 60mm base.

Nice versatile model that works as an alien, a Mythos horror, some Malifaux nasty, a dungeoncrawl critter, a mad scientist's experiment, and I'm sure some other things.

Of course, now I have part of a Bathalian that I need to use up. Project for another time. :)

Lovely paint job and a mean-looking critter!

Ooooh, That works. Well done.

Does, doesn't it? Considering the number of both the toad demons and Bathalians I've done over the last few years I'm kind of embarrassed at how long it took me to do this conversion. Really quite obvious when you fiddle with the parts a bit. Of course, I do need to find something to do with the rest of the Bathalian now...

So, I found something to do with those Bathalian leftover parts, thanks to a spare head from the Alien Host kickstarter:

A nice fit, if I do say so myself.

That's rather good

Whoa! Those both look great - but especially the big red one!

Thanks! I've done a bunch of kitbashes using that figure as a base. Latest one being this guy, with the head looted from a Bones "Eldritch Demon" aka Cthulhu spawn:

Reaper Bones has really made kitbashing experiments like these affordable. Wouldn't care to try this kind of cut-and-paste with $30 or $40 metals or plastic kits.
