Cracking stuff!! Some of my favourite of yours.
-
Already said it before...
A splendid force, beautifully executed!
-
disclaimer: I have completely randomly used the word section... it has no military meaning to me what-so-ever... :D
-
What a loverly bunch you've got there. Good huntin'.
-
Superb ;D :-*
I want them all, can you parcel them up and send them immediately to my residence please:)
-
I have already said, but I cannot resist to repeat:
Very nice job and very inspiring, too.
Thanks for the parade, I need the photos again.

I like this , too. But I prefer the destination to be my residence!
-
Beautiful force, I'm inspired

A new thought:
Do they need some armour? like a couple of Scimitars/Scorpions or command vehicle like Sultan or ambulance like Samaritan?
and a couple of trucks or MUTT's or more Landrovers?
[All these vehicles are my favourite ones, though I do not have any, yet}
Furthermore, think to add one or two ladies like those policewomen killerB has , of course painted in military colours. I think that by early 80's police and military uniforms for women were very similar in cut.

Ideally I want a couple of Bedfords and either a tank or an armoured car (did have something from eBay but the seller mislisted it, now in the midsts of a paypal dispute as the seller is a lying git)....
I did have a Geezer WPC for a Corporal Bell, but royally messed her up while tinkering with her (it was a bloody mess)... I may attempt some again in the future...

try chieftain models, nice models of those Scorpion/Scimitar/sultan/Stinger etc. I do not know about bedfords (maybe diecasts???)
Sloppy Jalopy has a Saxon APC (M113 etc)!

Great stuff.
Great pictures
What game system are you going to us them with?

I really appreciate your painting style! wow!
-
scale is the issue... these are 1/48, will be happy with 1/50, but anything approaching 1/56 will look too small... I have a sloppy Humber Pig, it's 1/56 and looks far too small against the lanny never mind the HQ...

you're kidding right.... lol
-
Not kidding I am just daft. o_o
I remembered seeing Matakishi had some truck that would suit. I hunted for the picture I remembered of them. Now that you have pointed out who started the thread I feel a bit daft ;D
Where?s the icon with red cheeks? lol
No only kidding, I thought with you may be getting on a bit and you may need reminding of you old threads. lol

all except the Brig, the female Captain, Benton and 2 of the Mortar lads are Mo-Fo Falklands War British... Brig is from Black Tree Design, female Captain is Kendra from hasslefree, Benton and the 2 mortar lads are from Mongrel's BAOR range...
head swaps using hasslefree heads - kneeling Captain and Osgood (which are the same figure from Mo-Fo - Osgood obviously has a lot more work done for the conversion), Kendra and Benton...
(the BAOR range have camo'd helmets so the two mortar lads had those filed down to match the other helmets and I completely messed up one of the Mo-Fo heads, so used a Hasslefree head as a replacement - chap with the beard)
that should hopefully cover them...
-
Excellent! Have seen a couple of these before, but great to see them presented as a unit (excuse the pun). Maybe it's even enough to make me rethink my new Who black and red approach...
-
Very sharp looking unit! Well done! :D

Excellent stuff. 8)
