We found time to squeeze in a game of the next scenario in the campaign. This time something a bit out of the ordinary. The Russians survivors from the previous scenario must try to get three carts of wounded men off the table. If they succeed they will be able to add to the force available for the next scenario and reinforce the next Russian defence line. It looked like a big ask for the Russians, whose platoon was heavily depleted from the earlier fighting. It ended up unfolding with a few interesting twists and turns. Wow :o......what a close run game! I love games like this...with an obvious preordained result...that then doesn't pan out that way!
Cracking campaign write up by the way and those carts are great!
