Going to keep track of my Ghost Archipelago related miniatures work here. I'll do a separate thread for any GA specific terrain.
Have the rules, and a bunch of figs in the queue. Didn't get any of the Nickstarter minis, because I have plenty of stuff already hanging around unpainted. I'm also trying to select stuff that will do double or triple duty - pulp, lost worlds, etc.
First up, some almost finished saurian warriors, which I can use as tribals:

Next up, some random crewmen, and in front a couple of figs I will use for Dricheans:

And a heritor/warden and crewman:

I'm pretty happy with how it works. Anything with a slotta base now gets this treatment. It took several attempts to find something to work... blue tack kept separating, then I tried large wire clips with brads at a 45 degree angle. Finally hit on this when I picked up a plano storage box at a thrift store - it had like a bazillion of these rubber bands in it.
So, I have several lifetimes supply, or until I run out of minis to paint...yeah, that's it. ;-)

Thanks!

Those look awesome! :o
I echo the salute to the ingenuity of attaching the figs to the corks. But the Saurians weren't cork-worthy? They got relegated to the old popsicle sticks? lol
Sigh...the slotta base. There is a special place in gaming Hell reserved for the person who foisted that upon the gaming world...! ;D

I could do corks for the ones with regular bases, but dont have that many corks on hand.

who makes the saurians?
-
Like to know the saurian's origin as well. And who makes the "more tribals"?
All minis with splendid brush-work!
-
The tribals are from blackcat bases.
The saurians are primal dawn ugg spearmen.

Looking really good!

I remember a thread, wehn blackcat bases was not so good viewed at (was ist around 2015 or somehthing) ... they had some problems sending stuff, if I recall it right. That still the case in 2017?
However! Thanks for the reply! They really look fantastic to me!

Yes, there was a time when they had serious delivery and communication problems. I waited well over a year to get my order.
Would like to get a few more things from them, but am hesitant. Not sure how how reliable they have been lately.
