Title: my first conversions for Gangs of Rome
Post by: ioan catalin on November 25, 2017, 12:08:10 PM
As I saw the posts here - I had to try to make my own gangs - all based on Victrix roman velites figures - this are all WIP - so some things still to do on them (leg protections, more knives, arm protections)

Some cloaks sculped would add more variety.

Great conversions! They remind me of Kirk Douglas' Spartacus.

it took me a while - but now I´ve finally finished some of them

I choose a look like they are a mix of ex-legionnaries, veterans, gladiators and street gang bandits

they often used clubs - so I decided to give them clubs and some daggers, swords and hammers

These are very cool conversions and a very creative and economic i might add way to get a big variety of roman scums

thank you - yes it is a very easy way to build a lot of roman scums ;-) that can be used for a lot of different scenarios - as revolting slaves, or revolting gladiators - or veterans in provice cities - or as roman gang members - therefor I used the velites bodies from the Victrix Republican Legionnaries boxes and some from the Victrix greek Peltasts boxes - also all the heads with "roman haircut" - and of course some bodies (only the chests) from the new Victrix celts - I want also to build some victrix pretorians as an ancient roman "SWAT"-like police who will fight those gangs in the streets of rome
