Howdy Folks!
Dracula's America has been my groups tabletop wargame of choice this past couple of months, and though we hopped into the game with unpainted minis I''m slowly putting brush to metal and working through the pile. Here's my initial offering:

From left to right, a Crossroads Cult Harbinger, John Wayne (as seen in Rio Bravo), and one of the Congregation's Freeman Guerillas. John Wayne is from Knuckleduster under the pseudonym "The Duck", the other two are from Northstar's Dracula's America range.
Shouldn't be too long before the next batch is done.
Be Seein' Ya...

Great looking stuff. The John Wayne figure really does a nice job capturing him. I once stood behind The Duke at a Jack In The Box and heard him ask the clerk taking his order "What the hell's a Bonus Burger?"

GREAT brushwork and choice of minis! And in proper clear bases as it's the way to go IMHO, CONGRATULATIONS!!! :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

PRICELESS!!! lol lol lol lol lol

Thank ye kindly sirs!
That John Wayne figure is a favorite of mine, it's a great rendition of the Duke. Knuckleduster makes another John Wayne figure but he seems a bit scrawny for the barrel chested Duke. They've got a third rendition as part of their Kickstarter, in the form of Rooster Cogburn.

Hah! I always figured him for a rambunctious sort.

I hear yah on the clear bases. Always found it offputting to see a a beautiful snowy-based mini... on a scorching desert board!

EXACTLY!!! lol
We moved definitively into clear bases some years ago when a friend came to one of our megamultiplayer Pirates game with some highly expensive custom-painted miniatures in scenic "wooden ship deck" bases... and that crew then looked totally ridiculous once disembarked on a sandy beach! ;D

Pretty much why I don't flock my bases.

I like this a lot.
Is the title a reference to the Blues Saraceno song? "Run on" I think it is, or something similar.

Dino has the right of it. Personally I favor Johnny Cash's rendition of it; aside from the gravitas his voice provides, it reminds me of the Coen Brother's True Grit remake, which used the song in a trailer to great effect.
