Title: Figure identification help...
Post by: pacarat on December 02, 2017, 03:00:40 AM
Got these out of the recent US bitz trade box, but have no clue who makes them or what they are called. No markings at all on slotta. My search fu has failed....

Posting these here 'cause they look cavemanish / primitive fur and stone speaheads... although they could fall under fantasy.

They are shorter than a human figure - more pygmy or dwarf in stature.

I've failed to find them too. The hairstyle (based on a Celt Warrior's?) makes me think these are from someone's unique fantasy range.

Thanks for looking.

I have used about two dozen different terms, to no avail. :-(

Another option is to try and identify which company/sculptor used that tab style. It looks familiar, but I can't put my finger on it. Mid-1990s?

Yeah, but someone else did that I think (some size and shape tabs).

Reaper sells figures called "Derro", that are dwarvish figures somewhat wilder in nature.  I know they are old D&D characters, so perhaps those figures are an early version of them?
