Title: Editing a thread's subject?
Post by: Wirelizard on April 16, 2009, 03:55:39 AM
How do you change the overall title/subject of a thread after it's started?

It can obviously be done, I've seen other people manage it on LAF, but all I can figure out getting a title on an individual post of a thread, not the overall title that shows up in the forum.

What am I missing?

If I?m not mistaken, if you use the "modify post" button on your initial post, you can also chance the "Subject" line on top. This will then show up in the thread list in the forum using the new subject line.

Hey, it worked this time - not sure what I did when I first tried that, but instead of modifying the original subject I got my entire first post quoted again further down the thread - with modified subject line there instead of on the actual thread title.

This time it did what I expected...  o_o
