A late medieval seasonal scene - done with Steel Fist Miniatures - the magic ingredient for the temporary snow is bicarbonate of soda.

Lovely composition with the dogs.
I found it quite uplifting in the week when we've had my dad's funeral, thanks Simon Just what I needed. :) :)
Who makes the buildings in the background ?
The barn is so evocative of the period.
Merry Christmas to you all.
Regards
Guy T

Many thanks for all the kind words - I kinda surprised myself how well the snow effect worked, as never used before.
Von Trinkenessen (Guy) I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your father.
Trust everyone has  good Christmas break.
Simon.

Thanks Simon.
He went out with all faculties intact. COPD got him in the end.
It is due to him that I have this renaissance interest because as a child he took me to visit Albrecht Durer's house in Nuremburg.
Although he was an engineer ,he was also an amateur artist with a keen sense of colour and love of renaissance and medieval art. ( John Richard Holcroft Taylor 12/11/1930 - 1/12/2017).
