Hi all!! I’ve painted all range of the 17th British Lancers of Zulu War , mounted and dismounted, to Michael Perry. I hope you like them! :)

Absolutely gorgeous painting Rafa. I've got both Perry and Empress Miniatures 17th lancers on my painting table based and undercoated. Finding time to paint them is another thing but your pictures/painting are inspirational and giving me the kick up the backside to get started :P

I hate plastic DIY figures with a passion, partly because of the weight (or lack of it) but mainly because they are just too damn fiddly for me to be bothered with. However, the paint job here is beyond outstanding and shows just what can be achieved in the right hands (i.e. not mine).
You are a true artist sir, and my hat is off to you!

I do believe the lancers are metal :)
-
Yes Sir the Lancers are indeed metal. I have a load of them on my painting table at the mo !!
-
I stand corrected and feel vindicated to boot! Metal, metal, METAL!
