My son loves Fallout. I know that there are two new Fallout board games coming out.
One, by Fantasy Flight Games, is already out. Has anyone played it yet and can tell me
about it? What are the figures like? His birthday is coming up so wondering if I should get that one or what for the
Modiphius Fallout game. That one look like it will be much more expensive but has cool figures.

Fallout from Modiphius is an actual miniatures skirmish game. The Fallout game by Fantasy Flight is a true board game. The only figures in it are the ones that represent each player's character. They are really two totally different types of games. Unfortunately, I have not played either so I do not know how well they play. But one is very much a board game while the other is very much a miniatures war game.

There are a few videos on Youtube about the FFG Fallout game.
The narrative system of the game looks great as each decision brings out a new outcome much like in the video games.
