So I'm going back to Cancon after a 6 year hiatus. Look forward to being in hot, dusty Canberra or cold, wet Canberra. Or both. Just looking forward to going.

I'll be playing in the Tribal tournament on the Friday, and the DBA (books III & IV) tournament on the Saturday. Sunday I'll just wander around. There's going to be a few demo games.

Anyone else here going?

Having been once and having lived in our nation's glorious capital, I can think of few things with less appeal. Do they still hold it out in some tin shed in the wilds of Bruce, somewhere that a bus runs near every four hours, if you are lucky?

That said, I hope you have an enjoyable trip. I'll be in Vietnam anyway.

Post by: von Lucky on December 30, 2017, 10:39:06 AM: Yes, it's in a few tin sheds at EPIC (convention centre in Mitchell). Bus is every 20 minutes from memory, but most stay in Watson and have cars, so it won't be an issue.

Shirley there's others that are going?

Look - it may not be for you, but then if we were all the same things would be boring.

Also looking forward to Eureka's new ranges... through the ages ;)

Shopping wise, picked up a whole lot of things - including a heap of Knights Models' Marvel blisters for $5-$10 each.

Getting to this thread I would love to go to Cancon and Auckland is way more overdue an airstrike than Canberra.
